Sometimes, imaging users need only view their subject and dependency on a PC or Mac running software is inconvenient. HD Output Cameras solve this issue – they can connect to any HDMI or DVI monitor and provide 60 frames-per-second display. If capturing images and video is desired, a PC and Mac frame grabber/software solution is available.
The HDC840 provides full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60Hz (1080p60). The multi-standard output signals include both HD-SDI (3G-SDI) and HDMI (available simultaneously). The output of the HDC840 is a true 16:9 ratio widescreen with square pixels providing accurate aspect ratios.
Scientific and Industrial users who have been burned by low quality images from consumer type products can rest at ease. The HDC840 is professional scientific grade, based on a 1/2.8” Sony 3.0 Megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor, with 0.1 Lux color/0.01 Lux mono minimum illumination and a Digital Wide Dynamic Range setting. The design minimizes thermal and electronic noise, and HD-SDI output is via a gold-plated BNC connector.
The lens mount is C/CS compatible (threaded mount) and the camera includes an auto-iris connector for use with compatible lenses. Audio input and output connections (analog) are available. 12VDC power supply is included. OSD Control provides access to camera menu functions including shutter speed, white balance, gain, sharpness, video modes and more.
OPTIONAL CAMERA CONTROL UNIT - allows remote access to the camera menu system, greatly enhancing ease-of-use for changing camera settings.
